Getting Into Treatment

The goal of all interventions is that the addict arrive at the treatment center and begin recovery with the proper guidance and under the care of professionals.

Many factors effect this process.

But that can't happen if the user is convinced that all is well, that their drug abuse is under control and they just need to be left alone.

Although this can occur quickly, it is often the most difficult step in the recovery process. Rehabilitation has little chance of success without the willingness of the addict and because one of the first casualties of addiction is self awareness, admitting that help is needed is a necessary first step on the road to healing.
